What to send.
- No design?
- We can help. Describe the part and what it has to do. We can design it, or start from a sketch.
- What can you send?
- A schematic, wire list, pinout table, BOM, PDF drawing, STEP, STL, 3MF, or SolidWorks file. A physical sample cable or part works too. We can reverse-engineer it and replicate it.
- Material and color?
- For a print or mold, name the material and color when you know them. The lists are on the prototyping page. For a cable, name the connector and the application.
- Post-processing?
- Say what the part needs after printing or molding: a finish, inserts, or assembly.
- How many?
- Include the quantity. Cable assemblies and harnesses run from prototype quantities through production, without a high minimum.
- Minimum order?
- FDM $150. SLA $200. Casting $500 + tooling. Injection molding $1,000 + tooling.
- Pickup or ship?
- Most orders are picked up on the shop floor. Tell us if you want it shipped.
